Targeted GPR133 receptor agonist AP503 stimulates bone regeneration and reverses osteoporosis
Pharmacologists developed an experimental small-molecule compound, AP503, that activates the GPR133 cell receptor to concurrently accelerate osteoblast bone formation and suppress osteoclast degradation. In preclinical trials, the compound significantly restored trabecular bone volume and stimulated muscle tissue resilience.
